Hello everyone!  This would be my 14th post which indicates the last class for this semester. There are a lot of things that we have learn along this semester. I have created my first podcast, made an explainer video, and also our team have created a software for adult (specifically for those who learn linguistic) regarding Three concentric model by Braj Kachru.  But first let's talk about the online quiz that we take on 2nd May.  (Thank goodness I had my girls to burn the midnight oil)  As it is already 2019, not just we are trying to save the turtles by using metal straw, we are also trying to save the planet earth as much as we can.  (Thus, this online quiz have come in handy!)  I have to give credits to Madam Azida as the quiz really convenient. Hi everyone!  Sadly, I was unable to enter the class for this week due to some event called 'BREAK THE SILENCE' which is one of Academic Development Program, Strengthening English Language 2019 at SMK SEPULOT KENINGAU SABAH.  However I did asked few of my friends regarding the lesson that they have learnt in class and they are still working on the smart builder in order to create a courseware for adult.  Therefore, t oday, instead of sharing what I have learnt in class like my other previous post. I will share to you regarding my experience throughout this wonderful journey to Sabah.  It took us nearly 5 hours to reach Bandar Keningau from Kota Kinabalu airport. Hello everyone!  Today, we have learnt about how to create a courseware using SMARTBUILDER. So, SmartBuilder is the fastest elearning authoring tool for creating serious elearning including scenarios, gamification, branching, assessments and more.  It empowers instructional designers to create interactive elearning and mobile learning. Thus, for today's task. We need to create a courseware for adults in order to teach them anything that is related to English. Therefore, our team (Wahida, Syuhadah and I) decided to choose the 'Three Concentric Model' which was developed by Braj Kachru.  So in our courseware, we are trying to infused all the things that we have learnt throughout this semester. Hello everyone! Today, I'm going to share with you about the ASSURE MODEL which wahida and I had explained in the class previously. So basically Assure model had only minor difference than the Addie model (if you guys still remember. But if you don't, you can click here to go to previous post) . CAUTION : For this week post, it's going to be gloomy and sad. I've search on the percentage of children who went missing. Just by looking at the number, my heart aches.. Thousands of questions rushed into my mind "The kids, are they okay?  The parents must've missed their children.. Can they reunited again with their family members? So for this week, I've decided to listen to a podcast on Ted Talks Daily  delivered by Soraya Chemaly  where she explains about the POWER OF WOMEN'S ANGER  So first, lets start off with the definition of anger given by the speaker. She mentions that anger is a  Human emotions, whether good or bad. It warns us of threat, insult, indignity and harm.   And truth be told,  girls and women are mainly taught that their anger is better left unvoiced .  It is almost like it has been gendered/categorized by who knows who, that explains that : 1. For this week, we don't have any class due to Chinese new year. Therefore, instead of updating what we have learnt in class. I will share a little bit about Chinese New Year. This year, will be the year of Earth Pig! Chinese New Year is a time for families to be together. Wherever they are, people are expected to be home to celebrate the festival with their families.The New Year's Eve dinner is called 'reunion dinner', and is believed to be the most important meal of the year. Like usual, there will be a lot of fireworks during chinese new year's eve. Talking about that, it reminds me about the legend of Nian, where it basically explains on why the Chinese will light up fireworks during Chinese new year's eve!
