So for this week, I've decided to listen to a podcast on Ted Talks Daily  delivered by Soraya Chemaly  where she explains about the POWER OF WOMEN'S ANGER  So first, lets start off with the definition of anger given by the speaker. She mentions that anger is a  Human emotions, whether good or bad. It warns us of threat, insult, indignity and harm.   And truth be told,  girls and women are mainly taught that their anger is better left unvoiced .  It is almost like it has been gendered/categorized by who knows who, that explains that : 1. If you are a man, then it is okay to let out your anger. 2. You are expected to penalized anger if you are a woman.  3. For this week, we don't have any class due to Chinese new year. Therefore, instead of updating what we have learnt in class. I will share a little bit about Chinese New Year. This year, will be the year of Earth Pig! Chinese New Year is a time for families to be together. Wherever they are, people are expected to be home to celebrate the festival with their families.The New Year's Eve dinner is called 'reunion dinner', and is believed to be the most important meal of the year. Like usual, there will be a lot of fireworks during chinese new year's eve.
